Five Step of Working with Us

We follow an easy five step process to get you registered and ready for work. We will not keep you hanging on, each step of the way we will update you and give you clear timescales for the next steps.

We work with committed people who meet our standards and ethos; our thorough onboarding process ensures you are ready for work as soon as possible. Candidate onboarding can take as little as 5-7 days, subject to suitability checks and can be performed remotely or face to face in our offices.

Step 1 | Initial Application & Screening

Once you have expressed an interest in working with us via our website, job board or social media, one of our friendly team will be in contact by phone to discuss suitability. The purpose of the call is to learn a bit about you and your suitability for a role in our organisation. We will explain more about what we do, what we can offer you, and our onboarding process. If you are suitable, we will send you details of what you need to do by email and arrange dates and times to catch up for the next steps. If you miss our call, don’t worry we will always leave a message with our details and call you back later. This may be while you are at work or busy, so please do call back anytime to speak to us.

Step 2 | Full Application

Step 2 includes completing our application. You will be asked to download our app during the screening call. It contains a simple to follow application form that you can complete when you are ready, anytime of day. As you progress through onboarding, you will receive updates and all the details we need about you are completed here, it saves your info as you go meaning you can come back to it if you run out of time. The sooner we have your application complete, the sooner we can offer you work.

Step 3 | Training

Our mandatory new starter training consists of various online modules that can be completed in the comfort of your own home. If you prefer, we have training PC’s available in our offices which are free to use. For most of our clients’ needs, you will also need valid moving and handling training, free classroom training will be provided to those who need it.

Step 4 | Referencing, Work History & DBS Checks

After your full application is received, we will be working behind the scenes on our compliance checks. These include gaining references and suitable DBS checks. We follow safer recruitment guidelines, so at this stage may need to gain more information from you to meet these standards.

Step 5 | Welcome Meeting & Final Onboarding

On completion of successful checks and mandatory training, you are invited to a welcome meeting. This is the final part of the process where we will need to see original documents, go through the company handbook, and kit you out with your uniform and ID. At this stage you will also be introduced to our bookings app and meet the office team you will be working with. At the end of the welcome meeting, you should be ready to go and have your first shifts booked!
